Wellness Event Catering in Dubai: What to Serve Around a Class

Parfait cups for lululemon, a bag at every mat at Arte Museum, spreads for Health Labs and Kure: what works around a class, and how to run it without a kitchen.

At a wellness event the food has to fit around a class, not the other way round. The rooms are movement studios, galleries, shop floors and even an aquarium tunnel, not dining rooms: there is often no kitchen, and the floor where guests stand with a plate may be the one they were lying on ten minutes earlier.

We have baked for events like these with lululemon, Dubai Arte Museum, Health Labs and Kure, and hosted our own ticketed mornings at Pravilo in Al Quoz and at Arte Museum in The Dubai Mall. If you are a brand, studio or community organiser planning a Pilates, yoga, sound-healing or run-club morning, this is what we have learned about feeding people around a class. Photos and video from those collaborations are on our events page.

Decide where the food sits in the running order

Fix the timing before the menu, because it changes what you can serve and where it goes.

Food can follow the session. With lululemon, our fresh-baked treats were for guests to enjoy after their activities. Our own Pilates, Community & Brunch on 6 September 2026 was planned the same way: a Pilates session inside Arte Museum's immersive gallery, then breakfast from our ovens.

A slower practice can put breakfast first. Morning Rituals with Farah, at Pravilo on 1 August 2026, was programmed to start at one long table set with fresh bakes, seasonal fruit and granola with Greek yoghurt, with sound healing, breathwork and an acupressure nail board session to follow.

Some events run longer than a single class, and the food stays out for all of it, as it did for Health Labs and Kure.

What makes food work around a mat

Start with hands. People coming off a mat are still holding a towel or a water bottle, so ask whether the food can be eaten standing up. A bar, a cookie or a small sandwich can be eaten one-handed. A parfait cup needs both hands, so set the cups out where there is a ledge or table to put a bottle down. Anything that needs a knife, fork and chair belongs at a laid table.

Then crumbs. A Croissant at 14 AED is layered by hand to bake crisp and flaky, and the flakes are the point. They are welcome at a table and not on a mat someone is about to lie down on, so keep laminated pastry off the practice floor.

Then temperature. Plain bakes such as bread, cookies and bars change in texture over a morning but do not need a fridge. Yoghurt, cheese and sliced meat do. Standard food-safety guidance is no more than two hours out of the fridge in total, or one hour above 32°C, and an air-conditioned studio is the two-hour case.

Finally, portions. Individual cups and bags keep hands out of shared bowls, and let a guest take one and still leave on time.

Parfait cups, mat-side bags, grazing spreads and a seated breakfast

Parfait cups. For lululemon, granola parfaits were tagged and set at every place, and more, tied with Rooted in Wellness ribbons, went on the counter in store. At Health Labs there were granola parfaits and fresh fruit cups. At A morning together, the gathering at Pravilo shown on our events page, granola parfaits sat beside a full grazing table. A cup is one portion and needs no plate, and a row of them looks deliberate.

In our online shop, the Granola Parfait with Greek Yogurt is 25 AED. Its granola starts losing crunch within about half an hour of meeting the yoghurt; our granola parfait guide covers how layering buys time. At an event, keep the cups cold and bring them out about five minutes before the class ends.

A bag at the mat, or at the door. At Dubai Arte Museum we set a Farah gift bag at every mat across the room. In the Dubai Aquarium tunnel with lululemon, the mats ran down the walkway with a Farah Bakery bag beside each one, and Morning Rituals with Farah was planned with a goodie bag for every guest. A bag welcomes guests to their place and can go home with them, so nobody has to eat on the floor.

Whatever goes in the bag has to survive being carried and left in a warm room. Our Granola Bar, toasted oats, nuts and seeds bound with honey, is 12 AED and travels well wrapped. Its honey binder turns tacky in heat and firms as it cools, as our granola bar guide explains, so keep bags out of the sun. Chocolate chips can melt in a warm bag, which makes an Oats & Cranberry Cookie, 80g at 16 AED, the steadier choice; our oats and cranberry cookie guide explains why it travels well.

A spread guests come back to. At Kure that meant a welcoming grazing spread, refreshed through the event. At Health Labs it meant a full spread, delivered and styled on site, with croissant sandwiches, pastries and pretzels beside the parfaits and fruit cups. A grazing table needs height so it does not look picked over, and wet things in edged bowls on their own board, separate from the bread; our guide to grazing tables covers both. For finger food, an Authentic Soft Pretzel is 8 AED, and Focaccia · Rosemary & Olive Oil at 12 AED can be cut into fingers. Neither needs a fridge, and our soft pretzel guide and focaccia guide cover how each keeps.

A seated breakfast after the class. When breakfast is the reward, give it tables and chairs away from the mats, and choose food that suits a plate: sandwiches, sliced loaves, fruit and parfaits. Of the sandwiches in our shop, ciabatta and focaccia are the two that wait out a long class best if kept cold, as our ciabatta turkey sandwich and focaccia sandwich guides explain; brioche and white-bread sandwiches are for eating soon. Our Pilates, Community & Brunch at Arte Museum was planned with breakfast from our ovens, coffee by Next Stop Coffee and blooms by Almataa Blooms. When several suppliers share one room, agree early who sets up where.

Run clubs and outdoor mornings

Outdoors there is often no table, shade or bin, and a Dubai summer morning can pass 32°C before the last runner is in. That puts yoghurt, cheese and meat on a one-hour clock, so skip them unless someone is minding a cool box.

A grab bag handed out at the finish works best: a cookie and a granola bar, kept in the shade until the first runners arrive. If you do bring cold cups, bring them out in small batches, because condensation soaks paper bags and labels.

Running it in a venue with no kitchen

Assume there is no oven, sink or fridge until the venue tells you otherwise. Without a fridge, anything made with yoghurt, cheese or meat needs a cool box with ice packs, kept shut, and a clear moment to come out; the clock set out above starts once it leaves the box.

Put open food, such as a spread or parfait cups, where the class ends rather than where it happens; only closed bags belong at the mats while the class is on. Immersive rooms run on projected light and are usually kept dim, so place a spread where guests can see what they are choosing.

Agree access times, since studios and galleries often have bookings either side of yours. Our part is everything baked that morning, delivered and set up, styled to your setting. Settle coffee early: at our Pilates brunch it was another supplier's job, while at A morning together, at Pravilo, coffee was part of what we brought. Our online shop sells no drinks, so raise it in your enquiry.

How we quote, and how much to order

There is no package list or per-person price to look up; we quote each event from the date, guest numbers, venue and format you send us. Count confirmed guests, not sign-ups, and plan one portioned item each, such as a cup or a bag, plus shared bakes on the table. Our office breakfast guide explains why shared items absorb a changing headcount.

Get in touch early, too: the running order, venue access and fridge all need settling before we bake.

Allergies and labels

Ask every guest about allergies when they register. Our kitchen handles wheat, gluten, eggs, dairy, nuts, peanuts, soy, sesame and seeds, and we cannot guarantee that any item is free from traces of these; our terms set this out in full. Our product descriptions are not full ingredient lists, so we cannot call any item nut-free. Our Granola Parfait contains Greek yoghurt and granola, and our Granola Bar contains nuts; do not use either description to rule an allergen out.

If anyone attending has an allergy or intolerance, tell us before you book. Put a card by each item that names it and flags nuts and dairy, and add one line saying everything was baked in the same kitchen.

Frequently Asked Questions

Should food be served before or after a Pilates or yoga class?

It depends on the class. With lululemon, our fresh-baked treats came after the activities, and the programme for our Pilates brunch at Arte Museum put breakfast after the session. At our slower sound-healing morning at Pravilo, the programme put breakfast first. Ask your instructor how the class ends.

What should go in a goodie bag for a yoga or Pilates event?

Bakes that need no fridge and can take being carried. An Oats & Cranberry Cookie or a Granola Bar travels better than anything with chocolate, cream or yoghurt. Our Granola Bar contains nuts and honey, so label it, and keep the bags out of the sun, because a honey binder softens in heat.

How much does wellness event catering cost in Dubai?

We do not publish packages or a per-person price. Each event gets its own quote, based on the date, guest numbers, venue and format. As a guide, our shop lists the Granola Parfait with Greek Yogurt at 25 AED, the Granola Bar at 12 AED and a Croissant at 14 AED. These are shop prices, not a catering rate.

What if the studio or venue has no kitchen or fridge?

Plan the menu around it. Cookies, granola bars, pretzels and focaccia need no fridge, though their texture changes over a morning. Parfaits and anything with cheese or meat need a cool box with ice packs, kept shut until serving, so tell us in your enquiry what the room has and who will mind the box.

How do I enquire about wellness event catering with Farah Bakery?

Use the "Bring Farah to your event" form on our events page, with the date, guest numbers and your brand or company. We reply to that form within one working day, and we do not publish a fixed notice period, so enquire as early as you can. If you would rather talk it through first, the same section of the page has a WhatsApp link.

Tell us about your class

The Bring Farah to your event form asks for the date, guest numbers and your brand. The notes are where the useful detail goes: the class and how it ends, whether food comes before or after it, whether the room has a fridge and a table, and any allergies among your guests. From that we shape a menu around your morning, from a bag at every mat to a spread for after the session, and send a clear quote.
