Office Breakfast Catering in Dubai: Timing, Labels and What to Order

A team breakfast succeeds or fails on logistics, so here is how to plan the headcount, the timing, the labels and the table before you order.

The food is the easy part of a breakfast meeting. The logistics are where it slips: the pastries turn up after the first guests, the yoghurt stays out until lunch, and nobody can tell which croissant contains nuts. All three can be settled before you order.

We bake everything to order in our Dubai Silicon Oasis kitchen. This guide to office breakfast catering in Dubai is for whoever has been asked to sort out breakfast. It covers the planning, what to order from our shop when your team can set the table itself, and when to send the details through our events form instead.

Start with the headcount and the kind of morning

Count the people who have confirmed, not the invitation list, or you will have a tray of untouched pastries at noon.

Then decide what sort of breakfast it is. A meeting first thing needs something substantial, a sandwich or a parfait each; a mid-morning break needs a few pastries and something sweet. Order one main item per confirmed person, then shared items rather than a second main each: a sliced cake loaf hides an extra guest or an absence, while a missing sandwich is obvious.

Ask about dietary needs before choosing anything

Add one line to the invitation asking about allergies, intolerances and food people do not eat. On the morning is too late.

Every sandwich in our shop contains meat: chicken, turkey or ham. The product descriptions do not say what animal the ham comes from or how any of the meat is sourced, so if that matters to anyone attending, ask us before you order, and make the rest of the table generous.

Our kitchen handles wheat, gluten, eggs, dairy, nuts, peanuts, soy, sesame and seeds, and we cannot guarantee that any item is free from traces of these; our terms set this out in full. If anyone has a food allergy or intolerance, tell us before you order, through our contact page, and we will tell you honestly whether we can serve them safely. Nothing in our shop is labelled vegetarian or vegan, so do not assume any item is; ask us first if that matters.

Time it so the food is waiting, not arriving

Shop orders are not delivered on the same day. The earliest checkout window is the next morning, and each spans three hours rather than a fixed time; our delivery guide lists all four. If people arrive before the window closes, the food may arrive after them, so a shop order suits a breakfast that starts after its window ends. If it has to be out earlier, use the events form described below, tell us when people arrive, and we will tell you what we can do.

Someone also has to receive the order: we cannot replace fresh items left uncollected or unrefrigerated. At checkout, tick the box for delivering to a company, put the floor in the "Apartment, floor" field, and drop the map pin on your building's delivery entrance rather than the tower itself. Add the reception and the receiver's name in the notes.

What holds in an air-conditioned office

For food safety, an air-conditioned office is still room temperature. Yoghurt, meat and cheese are perishable. Under standard food-safety guidance, chilled food like this should spend no more than two hours in total out of the fridge, or one hour when the air is above 32°C, including any time before it reaches your office fridge; after that, throw it away.

Sandwiches. Into the office fridge on arrival, unless eaten straight away, and out of the fridge ten to fifteen minutes before people sit down, when the clock resumes. Crusty or oil-rich breads such as ciabatta and focaccia go soggy more slowly than soft white bread or brioche, as we explain in how sandwich breads behave; that is about texture, and the limit still applies.

The parfait. The same limit out of the fridge, plus a second clock: granola softens the longer it sits against yoghurt (our granola parfait guide explains why), so take the cups out last, about five minutes before people sit down.

Croissants. Sold to be kept out of the fridge, so over a morning the main change is to their texture. Cover them loosely with paper rather than cling film; our guide to keeping a croissant in Dubai explains why.

Focaccia, cookies, granola bars and cake loaves. Also sold to be kept out of the fridge. Keep them covered, and slice a cake loaf as it is eaten, because it dries from every cut face.

What works on a meeting table, and what does not

People eat one-handed beside laptops, often while someone presents, so the food should be portioned and need no knife.

A parfait is one portion in its own cup; set spoons beside it. Sandwiches are eaten by hand, so put napkins beside them, and our cookies are single 80g pieces. A Granola Bar at 12 AED goes back to a desk with anyone who leaves early; our granola bar guide covers how it copes with heat.

Croissants shed flakes and our rosemary focaccia leaves olive oil on the fingers, so both belong on a side table, away from keyboards. We do not sell drinks, so arrange coffee and tea separately.

Building the spread from our shop

The savoury anchor. The Ciabatta Turkey & Cheese Sandwich at 12 AED and the Focaccia Smoked Turkey Sandwich at 17 AED are the two that hold until lunch if kept cold, as our ciabatta turkey sandwich and focaccia sandwich guides explain. Our other four sandwiches are 12 AED each: the Multi-Grain Ham & Cheese Sandwich holds up better than soft white bread or brioche, while the White Bread Smoked Turkey Sandwich, White Bread Smoked Chicken Sandwich and Brioche Smoked Chicken Sandwich are for eating soon (our brioche sandwich guide explains why). Label the ham sandwich most clearly.

The individual cup. The Granola Parfait with Greek Yogurt is 25 AED: Greek yoghurt layered with crunchy granola and topped with strawberries, blueberries and mango.

The pastry plate. A Croissant is 14 AED and a Chocolate Croissant 16 AED. The Almond Cream Croissant at 18 AED is topped with toasted almonds and the Pistachio Croissant at 19 AED is filled with pistachio paste. Both contain nuts, so they go on the nut plate described below.

Something sweet in hand. The Oats & Cranberry Cookie at 16 AED and the Chocolate Crinkle Cookie at 14 AED go on the main plate; the Peanut Butter Cookie at 14 AED and the Pistachio Chocolate Chip Cookie at 18 AED join the nut plate.

Something to share. A Focaccia · Rosemary & Olive Oil at 12 AED, cut into fingers, covers the savoury side. A cake loaf at 35 AED slices to fit whoever turns up, which is why a loaf suits an office better than a layer cake. The Marble Cake Loaf swirls vanilla and chocolate; the Banana & Pecan Cake Loaf contains toasted pecans, so it goes on the nut plate.

Delivery is free once the merchandise total reaches 150 AED before any discount code, and 20 AED below that; our delivery page covers the rest. Payment is through PayPal, where a card works without a PayPal account, and AED prices are charged in US dollars, worth knowing for the expense claim.

Label everything, and plan for the leftovers

Put a small card beside each plate with the item's name and, for sandwiches, the meat it contains. Do not copy ingredient or allergen lists from our product pages, because they do not list every ingredient. Instead, add the kitchen statement from the dietary section above to every card, so nobody reads an allergen missing from a card as absent from the food.

The nut plate, with its own tongs, takes the almond and pistachio croissants, the peanut butter and pistachio cookies, the banana and pecan loaf and the granola bars, because their descriptions name nuts. That does not make the other plates nut-free: our kitchen handles peanuts and tree nuts and our descriptions are not full ingredient lists, so we cannot call any item nut-free. If anyone avoids nuts, ask us before you order.

Bring perishables out only as they are needed. Ciabatta and focaccia sandwiches that went straight into the fridge on arrival and stayed there can go round at lunch; brioche and white-bread ones are for eating soon, so serve those at breakfast. Parfaits that stayed in the fridge can go round too, though the granola will have softened. Anything that sat out on the meeting table goes in the bin, not back in the fridge.

Shop order or events enquiry?

The shop is the simplest route for a breakfast your team can receive and set out. For a breakfast that is part of an occasion, such as a client morning, an offsite or the whole floor, use the Bring Farah to your event form instead. Add your company under "Brand / company", the event date and the number of guests. In the box about the event, give the venue and floor, when people arrive and any allergies. We reply within one working day, then come back with a menu and a clear quote; on the day, everything is baked that morning, delivered and set up.

For a spread styled on site around a class or activation, see our wellness event catering guide. If the food is the centrepiece, see our guide to grazing tables and event catering. For regular supply rather than a one-off breakfast, choosing a wholesale bakery supplier sets out the questions to ask.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can you deliver an office breakfast on the same day?

No, we do not offer same-day delivery. The earliest window at checkout is the next morning, and each window lasts three hours, so a morning order can reach you after your first guests. Choose a window that ends before people arrive, and leave some slack.

How long can yoghurt parfaits and sandwiches sit out in an air-conditioned office?

Not for a whole morning. Air conditioning does not turn a meeting room into a fridge, and the limit set out above counts every minute out of refrigeration, including reception and the lift. Keep them chilled until just before people sit down: ten to fifteen minutes for sandwiches, about five for parfaits, and bin whatever is left out afterwards.

How much does office breakfast catering cost in Dubai?

From the shop, it is the sum of the item prices. For a team of eight, four Ciabatta Turkey & Cheese Sandwiches at 12 AED, four Granola Parfaits with Greek Yogurt at 25 AED and a Marble Cake Loaf at 35 AED come to 183 AED, which clears 150 AED, so delivery is free. A spread built through our events form is quoted separately.

Can you cater an office breakfast for colleagues with food allergies?

Tell us who has which allergy when you order, and we will say honestly what we can serve. Do not rely on product descriptions alone, because they do not list every ingredient; see the dietary section above for what our kitchen handles.

Can Farah Bakery cater a corporate breakfast or client morning?

Yes, through the events form rather than the shop. It suits a client morning, an offsite or a whole floor. If breakfast has to be out earlier than a delivery window allows, say when people arrive and we will tell you what we can do. We reply within one working day, then come back with a menu and a clear quote.

Plan your office breakfast catering with us

Count who has confirmed, choose a morning delivery window, and order the table online: a sandwich or parfait each, a labelled plate of croissants, and a cake loaf to slice as it goes. For a bigger morning, tell us the date, the room and when people arrive through the Bring Farah to your event form.
