Office Lunch Catering in Dubai: Sandwiches That Wait for Lunch

To order office lunch catering in Dubai from Farah, order online by the day before, choose the 7–10 am delivery window on the day of the lunch, and keep the sandwiches in the office fridge until ten to fifteen minutes before people eat. Order one sandwich per confirmed person from the two that hold until lunch if kept cold, the Ciabatta Turkey & Cheese Sandwich at 12 AED and the Focaccia Smoked Turkey Sandwich at 17 AED, and add a 35 AED cake loaf to share or a cookie each. Delivery is free once the bag reaches 150 AED, and a flat 20 AED below that.

We bake everything to order in our kitchen in Dubai Silicon Oasis and deliver across Dubai. With no midday window, a lunch from our shop means a morning delivery and an office fridge.

Which delivery window should you choose for an office lunch?

There is no same-day delivery, and every order is baked for the day it is due. Checkout offers four windows, each three hours long: tomorrow 7–10 am, tomorrow 3–6 pm, the day after tomorrow 7–10 am, and next Saturday 9 am–12 pm. None of them falls at lunchtime.

For a lunch, take the 7–10 am window on the day itself: order the day before for tomorrow's window, or two days ahead for the day-after-tomorrow one, which leaves a day to collect allergies and a firm headcount. Avoid the afternoon window the day before: sandwiches are at their best on the day they arrive.

Which sandwiches wait until lunch?

Between a morning delivery and lunch, the bread matters more than the filling, as our guide to sandwiches in Dubai explains.

• Ciabatta Turkey & Cheese Sandwich, 12 AED. Tender turkey, cheese, beetroot slaw, crisp lettuce and fresh arugula in a rustic ciabatta. Its open crumb takes up the slaw's juice slowly, so kept in the fridge it lasts until lunch, as our ciabatta turkey sandwich guide explains.
• Focaccia Smoked Turkey Sandwich, 17 AED. Smoked turkey and crisp lettuce in herbed focaccia topped with black olives, cherry tomatoes and rosemary. The olive oil slows moisture moving into the crumb, so kept cold and uncut it holds until lunch; our focaccia sandwich guide covers why.
• Multi-Grain Ham & Cheese Sandwich, 12 AED. Kept in the fridge, it handles a few hours reasonably well: not as well as ciabatta, better than brioche.
• The ones to eat soon. The White Bread Smoked Turkey Sandwich, White Bread Smoked Chicken Sandwich and Brioche Smoked Chicken Sandwich, 12 AED each, have a fine crumb that takes on moisture quickly, as our smoked chicken sandwich guide explains. Keep them for a table served straight away.

How do you keep sandwiches cold until lunch?

For food safety, an air-conditioned office is still room temperature. Standard food-safety guidance is no more than two hours out of the fridge in total, or one hour above 32°C, and that clock includes any time the bag spends at a reception desk.

1. Make sure someone receives it. We cannot replace fresh items left uncollected or unrefrigerated, and a bag left at an unattended desk until lunchtime is exactly that.
2. Into the office fridge on arrival, whole and wrapped, because every cut face is crumb exposed to air and filling.
3. Out ten to fifteen minutes before people sit down. Cold mutes the flavour of the bread and firms the crumb; a few minutes on the side bring both back.
4. Bin what sat out on the table, rather than putting it back in the fridge.

How much should you order per person?

Count the people who have confirmed, not the invitation list. Order one sandwich per confirmed person, then shared items rather than a second sandwich each: a sliced cake loaf hides an extra guest or an absence, while a missing sandwich is obvious.

A planning list at today's prices:

• One sandwich each: 12 AED for the Ciabatta Turkey & Cheese, 17 AED for the Focaccia Smoked Turkey.
• A cookie each, if you want something sweet in hand: a single 80 g piece, from 14 to 18 AED across our six.
• Shared, not per person: a cake loaf at 35 AED, which comfortably covers an afternoon for an office of eight to ten people, or a Focaccia · Rosemary & Olive Oil at 12 AED cut into fingers.

Two worked orders:

• Lunch for six: three Ciabatta Turkey & Cheese Sandwiches at 12 AED and three Focaccia Smoked Turkey Sandwiches at 17 AED come to 87 AED, plus the 20 AED delivery fee.
• Lunch for eight: four Ciabatta Turkey & Cheese Sandwiches (48 AED), four Focaccia Smoked Turkey Sandwiches (68 AED) and a Marble Cake Loaf (35 AED) come to 151 AED, so delivery is free.

There is no minimum order. Two 90 AED orders pay the fee twice while one 180 AED order pays nothing, so combine orders going to one floor, and when you are just short of 150 AED, top up with a cookie or a cake loaf rather than another sandwich.

What waits on the table at room temperature?

• Cake loaves. Each cake loaf is 35 AED, a butter cake with no cream or custard, so it needs no fridge. Slice it as people take it, because a loaf dries from every cut face. The Marble Cake Loaf suits a team whose tastes you do not know, as our marble cake guide explains. The Banana & Pecan Cake Loaf contains toasted pecans, so it goes on a separate nut plate.
• Cookies. The six in our cookies and bars collection need no knife or plate. Keep them in their box, never in the fridge, as our cookie guide explains. The peanut butter and pistachio cookies name nuts, so they join the nut plate.
• Focaccia. A Focaccia · Rosemary & Olive Oil, cut into fingers, covers the savoury side. It is best on the day and leaves oil on the fingers, so keep it away from laptops.

We do not sell drinks, so arrange those separately.

What about allergies and people who do not eat meat?

Ask about allergies before you order. Every sandwich in our shop contains meat: chicken, turkey or ham. The descriptions do not say what animal the ham comes from or how any of the meat is sourced, and nothing in our shop is labelled vegetarian or vegan, so if that matters to anyone attending, ask us first.

Our kitchen handles wheat, gluten, eggs, dairy, nuts, peanuts, soy, sesame and seeds, and we cannot guarantee that any item is free from traces of these. A nut plate does not make the other plates safe for a nut allergy. If anyone has an allergy or intolerance, tell us before you order and we will tell you honestly whether we can serve them safely.

Label each plate with the item's name and, for sandwiches, the meat it contains, plus the kitchen statement above, rather than ingredient lists copied from product pages that do not list every ingredient.

How do you place the order for an office?

Tick "Delivering to a company / business?" at checkout and enter the company name as reception knows it. Put the floor and office number in the "Apartment, floor" line and drop the map pin on the entrance a driver should use; the order will not go through without one. Name the receiver in the notes for the baker, and give their phone number at checkout for delivery updates.

Payment is through PayPal, where any credit or debit card works, usually without a PayPal account; prices are shown in AED and settled in US dollars. When should you use the events form instead?

The shop suits a lunch your own team can receive and lay out. For food that has to be on the table when the first guest walks in, a client lunch, an offsite or a whole floor, use the Bring Farah to your event form: give the date, the number of guests, the building and floor, when people arrive and any allergies. We reply within one working day and will tell you what is possible.

No. There is no midday window and no same-day delivery; the earliest window is tomorrow, 7–10 am. For a lunch, choose the morning window on the day and keep the sandwiches in the office fridge until ten to fifteen minutes before people eat.

Do you have vegetarian options for an office lunch?

Not among our sandwiches: every one contains meat, either chicken, turkey or ham. Nothing in our shop is labelled vegetarian or vegan, so do not assume any item is. If it matters to anyone attending, ask us before you order, and make the rest of the table generous.

Can we put the company name on the order and pay with a company card?

Yes. Tick the company box at checkout and a company-name field appears. Payment is taken on PayPal's page, where any credit or debit card works, usually without a PayPal account, and prices shown in AED are settled in US dollars.
