Bakery in Dubai Silicon Oasis: What We Bake and How to Get It
Everything we sell is baked to order in our Nadd Hessa kitchen, so here is what to try first and how it reaches a flat, an office or an event in DSO.
Farah is an artisan bakery in Dubai Silicon Oasis whose shop lives online. Everything we sell is baked to order in our Nadd Hessa kitchen, so buying from us works differently from a corner bakery: you order ahead, and it comes to you.
Every loaf, pastry, cookie and sandwich in our shop is made in that kitchen, in small batches. The full street address and a map link are on our contact page.
What comes out of the kitchen
Sourdough is the slow end: seven sourdough breads from 14 to 30 AED. Our Country Sourdough Loaf at 25 AED is the signature, slow-fermented for over 24 hours, and the rest run from ciabatta and baguette to seeded, cheese, chocolate, and date, walnut and honey loaves. Our guide to sourdough bread goes through them loaf by loaf.
Soft loaves are the everyday end: Japanese milk bread, white toast, a multi-seed whole wheat toast loaf, and a brioche made with butter and fresh eggs. Focaccia comes three ways at 12 AED, with rosemary, cherry tomato or mushroom, all made with extra virgin olive oil.
Alongside the bread there are five croissants, six cookies at 80 g each, four cake loaves, six sandwiches made fresh every day, granola as a bar or a parfait, and classic bagels and a soft pretzel besides. The full list, with prices, is in the shop.
Delivery and collection in Silicon Oasis
Living round the corner from the kitchen does not change how an order reaches you. There is no same-day delivery, so order ahead and choose a delivery window at checkout; our guide to fresh bread delivery in Dubai covers the windows, the fee and payment.
In DSO's residential towers and office buildings, put the map pin on the entrance a driver can reach, and add the building name and the flat or office number. Checkout will not take an order without a pin.
Collection is not an option at checkout: every online order is placed as a delivery, and the usual fee rules apply. If you would rather collect from Nadd Hessa, our delivery page explains how: WhatsApp us before you come (the link is in our site footer), tell us your order number when you arrive, and it will be ready for you.
Your first order
Start with a plain Croissant at 14 AED. It is made with premium butter and layered by hand, and with no filling or glaze there is nothing between you and the lamination. Our croissant guide explains what to look for when you tear one open.
Add a Country Sourdough Loaf, our signature bread; here is how the flagship is made. For the next few days' breakfasts, add the Japanese Milk Bread Loaf at 18 AED, soft enough for butter and jam and tidy in a sandwich; slice and freeze whatever will not be eaten by day three.
Then something to share: a Chocolate Crinkle Cookie at 14 AED, fudgy under a crackled crust, or a Marble Cake Loaf at 35 AED, with vanilla and chocolate swirled through one loaf. Our guide to storing bread in Dubai covers keeping all of it, from the sourdough to the cake.
A croissant, the country loaf, the milk bread and the marble loaf come to 92 AED, so that bag pays the delivery fee. Your bag shows how much more you would need for free delivery.
One note before you order. Our kitchen handles wheat, gluten, eggs, dairy, nuts, peanuts, soy, sesame and seeds, and we cannot guarantee that any item is free from traces of them. If anyone eating has an allergy, ask us before you order.
Office orders in Silicon Oasis
There is no minimum order, so a small team can simply order one sandwich or cup each. The Ciabatta Turkey & Cheese Sandwich at 12 AED is one of our two sandwiches that hold until lunch if kept cold; our ciabatta turkey sandwich guide explains why. The Granola Parfait with Greek Yogurt at 25 AED comes in its own cup. Put both in the office fridge on arrival, then take the sandwich out ten to fifteen minutes before people sit down and the parfait about five minutes before. Our office breakfast catering guide covers headcounts, delivery timing and labels.
Events and larger occasions
For a corporate breakfast, a wellness morning or a private gathering, send us the details through the Bring Farah to your event form, and we reply within one working day. Our collaborations with lululemon, Dubai Arte Museum, Health Labs and Kure are on the same page, and our guides to wellness event catering and grazing tables cover planning the food.
