Sandwich Catering in Dubai: How Many to Order and What It Costs
Feeding a team, a training day or a house party with sandwiches: which of our six to choose, how many to order, what it costs with the 150 AED rule, and which delivery window fits.

For sandwich catering in Dubai, Farah Bakery sells six sandwiches online, on bread we bake: five at 12 AED and the Focaccia Smoked Turkey Sandwich at 17 AED. Order by the day before, count one sandwich per confirmed person, and keep them in the fridge until ten to fifteen minutes before people eat. Delivery is 20 AED below 150 AED and free from 150 AED, so twelve 12 AED sandwiches (144 AED) plus one 12 AED focaccia arrive free at 156 AED.
We bake to order in our kitchen in Dubai Silicon Oasis. This guide is for feeding a group; which bread suits which filling is in our guide to sandwiches in Dubai.
Can you order sandwich catering in Dubai, and what does it cost?
Yes: six sandwiches from our online shop at 12 or 17 AED each, plus 20 AED delivery when the bag is under 150 AED and nothing from 150 AED. There is no minimum order.
- Ciabatta Turkey & Cheese Sandwich, 12 AED. Turkey, cheese, beetroot slaw, lettuce and arugula in a rustic ciabatta.
- Focaccia Smoked Turkey Sandwich, 17 AED. Smoked turkey and lettuce in focaccia topped with black olives, cherry tomatoes and rosemary.
- Multi-Grain Ham & Cheese Sandwich, 12 AED. Ham, cheese and greens on dense multi-grain bread.
- White Bread Smoked Chicken Sandwich, 12 AED. Smoked chicken, cheese, cherry tomatoes and arugula.
- Brioche Smoked Chicken Sandwich, 12 AED. Smoked chicken, cheese, lettuce, arugula and beetroot slaw on buttery brioche.
- White Bread Smoked Turkey Sandwich, 12 AED. Smoked turkey, lettuce and cucumber.
All six are in our sandwich collection. Payment is on PayPal's page, where a credit or debit card works, usually without a PayPal account; prices are shown in AED and settled in US dollars.
Which sandwiches suit a group, and which hold best?
The ciabatta and focaccia sandwiches hold best when food has to wait; the white bread and brioche ones are for eating soon after they arrive. Every sandwich we make has meat or cheese in it, so all six go into the fridge on arrival unless you are eating them there and then.
- Hold until lunch, kept cold. The Ciabatta Turkey & Cheese, eaten the day it arrives, and the Focaccia Smoked Turkey, kept whole because cutting early only exposes more crumb. Our ciabatta turkey sandwich guide and focaccia sandwich guide explain why each bread copes.
- A few hours, kept cold. The Multi-Grain Ham & Cheese copes reasonably well: better than brioche or white bread, not as well as ciabatta.
- Eat soon. The two white bread sandwiches soften noticeably over an afternoon, even cold; the brioche one is for eating soon after it arrives, or from the fridge the same day. Our smoked chicken sandwich guide compares the brioche and white bread versions.
For a lunch delivered in the morning, lead with ciabatta and focaccia. For a gathering served soon after the order arrives, all six work; put the white bread and brioche ones out first.
Take every sandwich out of the fridge ten to fifteen minutes before people eat, so the crumb relaxes and the flavour comes back.
How many sandwiches do you need per person?
One sandwich per confirmed person when the sandwiches are the meal, then shared items rather than a second each. Count who has confirmed, not the invitation list.
- A lunch or a training day. One sandwich each, plus a Focaccia · Rosemary & Olive Oil at 12 AED cut into fingers, or a 35 AED cake loaf sliced as people take it.
- A party or a family gathering. One each is still the safe count. Keep the sandwiches whole until you serve them, then halve each as it goes out, so a guest can try two kinds.
- Something sweet. A cookie each, from 14 to 18 AED, a single 80 g piece that needs no plate.
What does a sandwich order for 6, 12 or 20 people cost?
In the four orders below, six people cost 102 AED delivered, twelve 156 to 174 AED and twenty 264 AED: the sum of the item prices, plus 20 AED delivery below 150 AED.
- A small team of 6. Two each of the Ciabatta Turkey & Cheese (24 AED), Focaccia Smoked Turkey (34 AED) and Multi-Grain Ham & Cheese (24 AED) come to 82 AED, or 102 AED with the fee. Add a Chocolate Crinkle Cookie each at 14 AED (84 AED) and the bag reaches 166 AED with free delivery, so the six cookies add 64 AED to the bill, not 84.
- A lunch for 12, all at 12 AED. Eight Ciabatta Turkey & Cheese Sandwiches (96 AED) and four Multi-Grain Ham & Cheese Sandwiches (48 AED) come to 144 AED, or 164 AED with the fee. Add one Focaccia · Rosemary & Olive Oil at 12 AED and the bag reaches 156 AED with free delivery: one more item for 8 AED less.
- A lunch for 12 with focaccia sandwiches. Six Ciabatta Turkey & Cheese (72 AED) and six Focaccia Smoked Turkey (102 AED) come to 174 AED, so delivery is free.
- An evening party for 20. Four each of the five 12 AED sandwiches come to 240 AED; two Focaccia · Cherry Tomato at 12 AED take the bag to 264 AED, delivered free.
Our office catering cost guide adds up orders for 10, 20 and 40 people, and our office catering guide covers a workplace from breakfast onwards.
Should sandwiches arrive in the morning or the afternoon?
In the morning for a lunch, in the afternoon for an evening gathering. Checkout offers four windows, each three hours long: tomorrow 7–10 am, tomorrow 3–6 pm, the day after tomorrow 7–10 am, and next Saturday 9 am–12 pm. None of them falls at lunchtime, and there is no same-day delivery.
- Lunch catering in Dubai. Order by the day before, choose the 7–10 am window on the day and chill the sandwiches on arrival; our guide to office lunch catering in Dubai covers the office fridge.
- An evening gathering. For one that starts after 6 pm, order the day before for tomorrow's 3–6 pm window, so the sandwiches arrive that afternoon, ahead of guests, which suits the white bread and brioche ones better than a morning delivery. The afternoon window is only offered for tomorrow.
- A Saturday gathering. Next Saturday's 9 am–12 pm window suits one that starts after midday.
The order can arrive at any point inside the window, and the earliest window is preselected, so check which is ticked before you pay. In Abu Dhabi, the earliest delivery is two days after ordering, between 2 and 8 pm, so sandwiches there suit an evening rather than a lunch; see our Abu Dhabi delivery guide.
Standard food-safety guidance is no more than two hours out of the fridge in total, or one hour above 32°C, so bin sandwiches that sat out longer. We cannot replace fresh items left uncollected or unrefrigerated, so make sure someone receives the order; our delivery page covers the rest.
Do you make sandwich platters or sandwich boxes?
Not as a shop product: our shop sells the six sandwiches one by one, delivered for you to receive and lay out yourself. There is no mini or finger sandwich in the shop either; halving full sandwiches as you serve them is the closest. For a styled spread, boxed treats or food set up before guests arrive, use the Bring Farah to your event form: we design a menu shaped to your event, "from grazing tables to boxed treats", with a clear quote.
It is also the route for corporate catering when food must be on the table as the first guest walks in, such as a client lunch or an offsite. Give the date, guest numbers, venue, arrival time and any allergies; we reply within one working day and will tell you what is possible. There is no package list, per-person price or published notice period, so enquire early.
Our event catering guide compares the form with a shop order; see also catering for meetings in Dubai and small event catering in Dubai.
Do your sandwiches suit guests who avoid meat or have allergies?
Not for guests who avoid meat, and for allergies only after checking with us: every sandwich in our shop contains meat, either chicken, turkey or ham, and nothing in our shop is labelled vegetarian or vegan. The descriptions do not say what animal the ham comes from or how any of the meat is sourced, so ask about diets in the invitation.
Our three focaccias, 12 AED each, have no meat in their names: Rosemary & Olive Oil, Cherry Tomato and Mushroom, but our product descriptions are not full ingredient lists, so check with us before relying on them. Keep focaccia at room temperature, in paper or under a cloth, never in the fridge.
Four sandwiches name cheese in their descriptions (the Multi-Grain Ham & Cheese, the Ciabatta Turkey & Cheese and both smoked chicken sandwiches), and the brioche carries butter in its crumb. The other two name no cheese, but that does not mean they contain none.
Our kitchen handles wheat, gluten, eggs, dairy, nuts, peanuts, soy, sesame and seeds, and we cannot guarantee that any item is free from traces of these. If anyone has an allergy or intolerance, tell us before you order and we will tell you honestly whether we can serve them safely.
Label each plate with the sandwich's name and its meat, plus the kitchen statement above, rather than lists copied from product pages. We do not sell drinks, so arrange those separately.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can you deliver sandwiches at lunchtime in Dubai?
No. There is no midday window and no same-day delivery; the earliest window is tomorrow, 7–10 am. For a lunch, take that morning window on the day and lead with the Ciabatta Turkey & Cheese and Focaccia Smoked Turkey sandwiches, which hold until lunch if kept cold. Chill them on arrival and take them out ten to fifteen minutes before people eat.
How far ahead should I order sandwiches for a party?
By the day before at the latest, because everything is baked to order for the day it is due. For a party that starts after 6 pm, order exactly one day ahead for tomorrow's 3–6 pm window, so the sandwiches arrive that afternoon, ahead of your guests. A weekday three or more days away cannot be booked yet.
Do you have vegetarian sandwiches?
No. Every one of our six sandwiches contains meat, either chicken, turkey or ham, and nothing in our shop is labelled vegetarian or vegan. Our three focaccias have no meat in their names, but ask us before you order if it matters to a guest.
Can I mix different sandwiches in one order?
Yes. Put any mix of the six sandwiches into one order, along with focaccia, cookies or a cake loaf. One order to one address pays the delivery fee once at most, and nothing from 150 AED; there is no minimum order.
What is the delivery fee for a sandwich order?
Delivery is 20 AED when the bag is under 150 AED and free from 150 AED. Twelve 12 AED sandwiches come to 144 AED, or 164 AED with the fee; adding one 12 AED focaccia takes the bag to 156 AED with free delivery.
Order sandwiches for your group
Count who has confirmed, choose the window that fits when people eat and order by the day before: the Ciabatta Turkey & Cheese Sandwich and Focaccia Smoked Turkey Sandwich for a lunch that waits, the whole sandwich collection for a party served soon after delivery.
