Catering for Meetings in Dubai: Morning, Lunch or Afternoon
A meeting is not a meal: people eat beside laptops while someone is talking, on an agenda rather than at a mealtime. This is how to match the order to a morning meeting, a lunch-time meeting or an afternoon workshop.

To cater a meeting in Dubai from Farah, order online by the day before, choose the 7–10 am delivery window on the meeting day, and order one item per confirmed person that can be eaten by hand or with a spoon: a 25 AED Granola Parfait with Greek Yogurt for a morning meeting, a 12 AED Ciabatta Turkey & Cheese Sandwich kept in the office fridge for a lunch meeting, and a 12 AED Granola Bar or a slice of a 35 AED cake loaf for an afternoon workshop. Checkout offers four windows, each three hours long: tomorrow 7–10 am, tomorrow 3–6 pm, the day after tomorrow 7–10 am, and next Saturday 9 am–12 pm. Delivery is 20 AED below 150 AED and free from 150 AED, with no minimum order.
We bake everything to order in our kitchen in Dubai Silicon Oasis and deliver across Dubai. For a team breakfast, see office breakfast catering in Dubai; for a team lunch, office lunch catering in Dubai.
How is catering a morning meeting different from a lunch or an afternoon workshop?
The time of the meeting decides how long the food waits. With a morning delivery, a morning meeting eats close to arrival, a lunch meeting waits a few hours in the fridge, and an afternoon workshop waits most of the day.
- Morning meeting. The Granola Parfait with Greek Yogurt at 25 AED is one portion in its own cup, a breakfast to eat soon rather than keep.
- Lunch meeting. One sandwich each from the two that hold until lunch if kept cold: the Ciabatta Turkey & Cheese Sandwich at 12 AED and the Focaccia Smoked Turkey Sandwich at 17 AED, which needs little alongside it.
- Afternoon workshop. Food that waits at room temperature. A Granola Bar at 12 AED, kept wrapped and out of the heat, waits until later in the day; an Oats & Cranberry Cookie at 16 AED has no chocolate to soften; and the Marble Cake Loaf at 35 AED is the neutral loaf, which keeps for days at room temperature.
Which delivery window should you choose for a meeting?
Usually the 7–10 am window on the meeting day: order the day before for tomorrow's window, or two days ahead for the day-after-tomorrow one. The order can arrive at any point inside the window, so plan around its end.
- Starts at 10:30 or later: the morning window leaves time for reception and setting out.
- Starts before 10: a 9 am start falls inside the window, so the food may arrive after your guests. Serve it at the first break, or use the events form described below.
- Afternoon workshop: the 3–6 pm window only exists for tomorrow, and a 3 pm start falls inside it. A morning window on the day is safer, built around food that waits at room temperature.
There is no same-day delivery, and a weekday meeting three or more days away cannot be booked yet. The earliest window is preselected, so check which is ticked before you pay. Orders placed after our evening cut-off are scheduled for the next baking day, and checkout shows the date. Our page on a client meeting in DIFC works through one meeting date.
What food works on a meeting table without mess?
Food people can eat without a knife and fork that is neither flaky nor oily, because people eat one-handed beside laptops while someone presents.
- At the table. A sandwich eaten by hand with a napkin. A parfait in its own cup, with a long spoon. A slice of Marble Cake Loaf, which slices cleanly and holds its shape instead of crumbling. An Oats & Cranberry Cookie, chewy rather than gritty.
- For the side table. A plain Croissant at 14 AED has shatter-thin outer flakes, and the Focaccia · Rosemary & Olive Oil is flooded with olive oil, so both go on a side table with napkins, away from keyboards. If pastries must sit for a while, the Chocolate Croissant at 16 AED holds up best of our croissants over a few hours, because it has no wet topping to soften the crust.
- Not for a long session. The Cookie Croissant is much less forgiving of sitting around: several hours in, its lid turns soft and tacky.
How much should you order per person for a meeting?
One item per confirmed person, then shared items rather than a second each, because a sliced cake loaf hides an extra guest or an absence while a missing sandwich is obvious. Count the people who have confirmed, not the invitation list.
Three worked orders at today's prices:
- Morning meeting for six: six Granola Parfaits with Greek Yogurt at 25 AED come to 150 AED, so delivery is free.
- Lunch meeting for ten: five Ciabatta Turkey & Cheese Sandwiches (60 AED) and five Focaccia Smoked Turkey Sandwiches (85 AED) come to 145 AED. One Granola Bar at 12 AED takes the bag to 157 AED with free delivery, less than the 165 AED you would pay with the fee.
- Afternoon workshop for ten: five Granola Bars (60 AED), five Oats & Cranberry Cookies (80 AED) and a Marble Cake Loaf (35 AED) come to 175 AED, so delivery is free.
Payment is on PayPal's page, where a credit or debit card works, usually without a PayPal account; prices are shown in AED and settled in US dollars.
How should you store meeting food until people eat?
Sandwiches and parfaits go into the office fridge on arrival and come out just before people eat: ten to fifteen minutes for sandwiches, about five minutes for parfaits. Everything else stays out of the fridge.
- Make sure someone receives it. We cannot replace fresh items left uncollected or unrefrigerated. Tick "Delivering to a company / business?" at checkout, put the floor in the "Apartment, floor" line and name the receiver in the notes for the baker.
- Into the fridge whole. Sandwiches stay wrapped and uncut, because cutting early only exposes more crumb.
- Out on time. Cold mutes the flavour of the bread; a short rest brings it back. Parfaits come out last, because the granola takes up moisture from the moment the cup is built, as our granola parfait guide explains.
- Watch the clock. An air-conditioned room is still room temperature. Standard food-safety guidance is no more than two hours out of the fridge in total, or one hour above 32°C, so bin sandwiches and parfaits that sat out longer.
Croissants stay in paper, never sealed plastic. Slice a cake loaf as people take it, and keep granola bars wrapped and out of the fridge, which sets the honey binder hard.
How should you label meeting food and handle allergies?
Ask about allergies in the invitation, tell us before you order, and put a card beside each plate with the item's name, the meat in any sandwich and our kitchen statement.
Our kitchen handles wheat, gluten, eggs, dairy, nuts, peanuts, soy, sesame and seeds, and we cannot guarantee that any item is free from traces of these. If anyone has an allergy or intolerance, tell us before you order and we will tell you honestly whether we can serve them safely.
- Sandwiches. Every sandwich in our shop contains meat: chicken, turkey or ham, and nothing in our shop is labelled vegetarian, so ask us first if that matters. Label the ham sandwich most clearly.
- The nut plate. The almond and pistachio croissants, the peanut butter and pistachio cookies, the banana and pecan loaf and the granola bars get their own plate and tongs, because their descriptions name nuts. That does not make the other plates safe for a nut allergy.
- The cards. Do not copy ingredient lists from our product pages, which do not list every ingredient; use the kitchen statement.
When should you use the events form instead of the shop?
Use the shop when your own team can receive the order and set it out. Use the Bring Farah to your event form when the meeting is client-facing and the food must be on the table when the first guest walks in, when you want it set up for you, when it is for a whole floor, or when it must be out earlier than a delivery window allows.
Give the date, the number of guests, your company, the venue and floor, when people arrive and any allergies. We reply within one working day and will tell you what is possible. There is no package list or per-person price: we quote each event from the date, guest numbers, venue and format you send us. When the food is the centrepiece, see grazing tables and event catering.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can you deliver catering for a meeting today in Dubai?
No. There is no same-day delivery, and everything is baked to order for the day it is due. The earliest checkout window is tomorrow, 7–10 am, so order by the day before and choose the morning window on the meeting day.
What food can people eat at a meeting table without making a mess?
Food people can eat without a knife and fork: a sandwich eaten by hand, a granola parfait in its own cup, a chewy oat cookie or a slice of marble cake loaf. Croissants shed flakes and focaccia leaves oil on the fingers, so keep those on a side table.
How much does catering for a meeting cost?
From our shop, it is the sum of the item prices, plus 20 AED delivery below 150 AED. Six Granola Parfaits with Greek Yogurt at 25 AED come to 150 AED, so delivery is free. A meeting arranged through our events form is quoted separately.
Which sandwiches can wait for a lunch meeting?
The Ciabatta Turkey & Cheese Sandwich at 12 AED and the Focaccia Smoked Turkey Sandwich at 17 AED hold until lunch if kept cold. Put them in the office fridge on arrival, whole and wrapped, and take them out ten to fifteen minutes before people eat.
Do you cater client meetings and corporate events in Dubai?
Yes, through the Bring Farah to your event form on our events page rather than the shop. Give the date, the number of guests, the venue and floor, when people arrive and any allergies. We reply within one working day and quote each event from those details.
