Croissant Catering in Dubai: How to Order and Serve a Mixed Tray

How to order croissants for an office, a meeting, an event or a family breakfast in Dubai: which to mix on a tray, how many to order, which window to pick and how to keep them crisp.

A plain butter croissant, a pistachio croissant and an almond cream croissant on a plain cream background

To order croissant catering in Dubai from Farah, order online by the day before, choose the 7–10 am delivery window on the day, and mix a tray from our five croissants at 14 to 19 AED each: the plain Croissant at 14 AED, the Chocolate and Cookie Croissants at 16 AED, the Almond Cream Croissant at 18 AED and the Pistachio Croissant at 19 AED. Delivery is free once the bag reaches 150 AED, and a flat 20 AED below that, with no minimum order. Keep them in paper, out of the fridge, and eat them the day they arrive.

We bake every croissant to order in our kitchen in Dubai Silicon Oasis. This guide is for a tray you set out yourself; how the pastry is made is in our croissant guide, and regular supply for a café or office is in our croissant supplier guide.

Which croissants can you order for catering in Dubai?

Five, all built on the same laminated butter dough, at 14 to 19 AED each in our croissant collection.

  • Croissant, 14 AED. Plain, layered by hand into 27 layers of butter, and the one we judge every batch by.
  • Chocolate Croissant, 16 AED. Baked and cooled, then dipped in tempered dark chocolate, so the layers stay dry. It holds up longest over a few hours.
  • Cookie Croissant, 16 AED. Baked twice, for a sandy, biscuit-like lid over flaky layers. It is much less forgiving of sitting around than the plain one, as our cookie croissant guide explains.
  • Almond Cream Croissant, 18 AED. Split, syruped, filled with frangipane, topped with toasted almonds and baked again. It eats denser and more filling than the plain one.
  • Pistachio Croissant, 19 AED. Filled with pistachio paste and finished with crushed pistachios and a light glaze. Its oil seeps into the layers over a few hours, so eat it the day it arrives.

How do you mix a croissant tray?

Build the tray around plain croissants, then add the filled ones in smaller numbers. The plain one works on a pastry plate beside the filled ones.

  • For a long morning, lean on chocolate croissants, which hold up longest, alongside the plain ones.
  • Serve cookie croissants first. Several hours in, the lid turns soft and tacky and the pastry below goes limp.
  • Count an almond cream croissant as a whole pastry. Many people find it works better as a single treat than as part of a bigger spread.
  • Keep the nut croissants apart, on their own plate with their own tongs.

How many croissants should you order per person?

Order one croissant per confirmed person, counting who has said yes rather than the invitation list. If croissants are the whole breakfast, add a shared item rather than a second croissant each: a Marble Cake Loaf at 35 AED, sliced as people take it, absorbs an extra guest or an absence.

Three worked orders at today's prices:

  • A family breakfast for four: two Croissants (28 AED), a Chocolate Croissant (16 AED) and a Pistachio Croissant (19 AED) come to 63 AED, plus 20 AED delivery.
  • A meeting for eight: four Croissants (56 AED), two Chocolate Croissants (32 AED) and two Almond Cream Croissants (36 AED) come to 124 AED, or 144 AED with delivery. Two more plain Croissants make 152 AED with free delivery, only 8 AED more.
  • An office tray for ten: four Croissants (56 AED) and two each of the Chocolate (32 AED), Almond Cream (36 AED) and Pistachio (38 AED) croissants come to 162 AED, so delivery is free.

Each order pays its own fee, so combine orders going to one address; the 150 AED is counted before any discount code.

Which delivery window should you choose for croissants?

Choose a morning window on the day you will eat them, and order by the day before. There is no same-day delivery, and every order is baked for the day it is due. Checkout offers four windows, each three hours long: tomorrow 7–10 am, tomorrow 3–6 pm, the day after tomorrow 7–10 am, and next Saturday 9 am–12 pm.

  • For an office or a meeting, take the 7–10 am window on the day. If people arrive before it ends, the croissants may arrive after them.
  • Skip the afternoon window the day before. Croissants are for eating the day they arrive, not the morning after.
  • For a Saturday family breakfast, the 9 am–12 pm window suits a late breakfast or brunch.
  • In Abu Dhabi, the earliest delivery is 2 days after ordering, between 2 pm and 8 pm, so croissants arrive later in the day rather than for breakfast.

The earliest window is preselected, so check which is ticked before you pay; our guide to fresh bread delivery in Dubai explains the windows. For an office, tick the company box at checkout and name the receiver in the notes for the baker, because we cannot replace fresh items left uncollected. Payment is on PayPal's page, where a credit or debit card works, usually without a PayPal account.

How do you keep croissants crispy after delivery in Dubai?

Unpack them on arrival, keep them in paper at room temperature, and eat them the same day. Summer air here softens a crisp shell within an hour or two.

  • Paper, not plastic. A sealed plastic box traps moisture and turns the crust leathery. Leave cookie croissants loosely covered rather than wrapped, because their topping draws moisture from the air.
  • Not the fridge. Cold stales the crumb faster than the counter. A chilled chocolate croissant develops a dull grey sugar bloom, and a cold pistachio croissant carried into humid air collects condensation on its glaze.
  • Not a parked car. In a hot car, a dipped croissant's chocolate warms, resets badly and shows pale streaks.
  • Tear, do not cut. If you halve croissants to stretch a tray, tear them, because a knife compresses the crumb.
  • A side table, not the meeting table. A well-laminated croissant sheds flakes, so keep the tray away from keyboards.

How do you reheat croissants that have gone soft?

Use dry heat, never a microwave, with a setting for each croissant, and warm a mixed tray in batches by type.

  • Croissant: five to six minutes at 160 to 170°C. A plain croissant wrapped and frozen the day it arrives revives straight from frozen in the same time.
  • Almond Cream Croissant: four to five minutes at 160°C in an oven or air fryer.
  • Pistachio Croissant: three to four minutes in a 150 to 160°C oven, away from the grill element, then five to ten minutes' rest.
  • Chocolate Croissant: reheating melts the coating, so if you do warm it, give it three minutes at 150°C, then ten minutes undisturbed so the shell firms again.
  • Cookie Croissant: five to six minutes at about 180°C, unwrapped, on a rack or a preheated tray, then two or three minutes' rest so the topping sets.

In a microwave, the sugar in the cookie topping heats far faster than the pastry. Our pistachio croissant and almond croissant guides go further.

Which croissants contain nuts?

The Almond Cream Croissant and the Pistachio Croissant contain nuts: ground almonds in the frangipane and toasted almonds on top, and pistachio paste with crushed pistachios. All five contain gluten and butter; the frangipane is bound with egg, and the plain croissant is egg-washed before baking, so do not treat any of them as egg-free.

Put the nut croissants on a separate plate with their own tongs, and label every plate with the croissant's name. That does not make the other plates safe for a nut allergy: our kitchen handles wheat, gluten, eggs, dairy, nuts, peanuts, soy, sesame and seeds, and we cannot guarantee that any item is free from traces of these. Our descriptions are not full ingredient lists, so do not copy allergen lists from product pages onto labels. If anyone has an allergy or intolerance, tell us before you order and we will tell you honestly whether we can serve them safely; our terms give the full statement.

When should you use the events form instead of the shop?

Use the shop for a tray your own team or family can receive and set out. For croissants that must be out before a delivery window allows, or for a client morning, an offsite, a whole floor or a brand event, use the Bring Farah to your event form.

Give the date, guest numbers, venue, arrival time and any allergies; we reply within one working day. There is no package list or per-person price to look up; we quote each event from the date, guest numbers, venue and format you send us. For Health Labs, a spread delivered and styled on site included croissant sandwiches, which are not in our shop.

Frequently Asked Questions

How many croissants should I order per person?

Order one croissant per confirmed person, and if croissants are the whole breakfast, add a shared cake loaf rather than a second croissant each. For ten people, four plain, two chocolate, two almond cream and two pistachio croissants come to 162 AED, with free delivery.

How far ahead do I need to order croissants in Dubai?

Order by the day before. There is no same-day delivery, and the earliest window is tomorrow, 7–10 am. Every croissant is baked for the day it is due, so choose a morning window on the day you will eat them.

How do I keep delivered croissants crispy?

Keep them in paper at room temperature, never in a sealed plastic box or the fridge, and eat them the same day. To revive a softened plain croissant, give it five to six minutes at 160 to 170°C, and never use a microwave.

Which of your croissants contain nuts?

The Almond Cream Croissant and the Pistachio Croissant contain nuts, so serve them on a separate plate with their own tongs. Our kitchen also handles nuts and peanuts and cannot guarantee that any croissant is free from traces, so ask us before ordering for anyone with an allergy.

Can Farah Bakery cater croissants for an event or a client breakfast?

Yes, through the Bring Farah to your event form on our events page. Give the date, guest numbers, venue and when people arrive. We reply within one working day and quote each event from those details, because there are no published catering packages.
