Buying Bread in Bulk in Dubai: How Much to Order and How to Keep It
Stocking up for a fortnight at home or a week of office breakfasts: what one large bread order costs, which loaves keep and freeze, which bakes to leave for another day, and when regular supply makes more sense.

You can buy bread in bulk in Dubai by putting a week of loaves into one Farah order: our loaves run from 10 AED for White Toast Bread to 35 AED for Brioche Toast Bread, delivery is free once the bag reaches 150 AED and a flat 20 AED below that, and there is no minimum order. We publish no bulk discounts or volume prices, so what one large order saves is the delivery fee. Stock up on loaves that freeze well, slice and freeze the surplus on delivery day, and toast it straight from frozen.
Everything is baked to order for the delivery day in our kitchen in Dubai Silicon Oasis. This page is for households and offices stocking up; for weekly supply to a café, restaurant or hotel, see our bread supplier guide for businesses.
Can you buy bread in bulk in Dubai, and what does it cost?
Yes: a bulk order is an ordinary online order with more in the bag, it costs the sum of the item prices, and delivery is free from 150 AED. These are the breads worth buying in quantity, at today's shop prices; all but the sourdough are in our toast and buns collection:
- White Toast Bread: 10 AED
- Japanese Milk Bread Loaf: 18 AED
- Country Sourdough Loaf: 25 AED
- Multi-Seed Whole Wheat Toast Bread: 32 AED
- Brioche Toast Bread: 35 AED
- Classic Bagels: 6 AED each
The 150 AED is counted before any discount code, and our guide to bread prices in Dubai explains what each price pays for.
A fortnight for a family of four
Plan a fortnight as two weekly orders rather than one large bag: the second week's bread then arrives freshly baked instead of spending a week in the freezer, and each order still clears 150 AED. Each week's bag:
- two Japanese Milk Bread Loaves for school sandwiches: 36 AED
- three White Toast Bread loaves for breakfast toast: 30 AED
- one Multi-Seed Whole Wheat Toast Bread: 32 AED
- one Country Sourdough Loaf for the weekend table: 25 AED
- six Classic Bagels: 36 AED
That is 159 AED a week with free delivery, so the fortnight costs 318 AED. Buy the same bread in four smaller orders of about 80 AED, two a week, and each pays the 20 AED fee: 80 AED in fees, and 398 AED for the same fortnight.
A week of office breakfasts for eight
Here is one Monday-morning delivery planned for a team of eight with a toaster and a freezer drawer: bagels on Monday and Tuesday, toast from Wednesday to Friday.
- sixteen Classic Bagels: 96 AED
- two White Toast Bread loaves: 20 AED
- one Multi-Seed Whole Wheat Toast Bread: 32 AED
That comes to 148 AED, so the 20 AED fee applies and you pay 168 AED. Add a Japanese Milk Bread Loaf at 18 AED and the bag reaches 166 AED with free delivery: one more loaf for 2 AED less. Keep Tuesday's bagels in paper at room temperature, and on Monday slice and freeze the toast loaves for Wednesday to Friday, toasting from frozen. For the Monday delivery, order online by the day before and choose the 7–10 am window.
Ask the team about allergies first. Our kitchen handles wheat, gluten, eggs, dairy, nuts, peanuts, soy, sesame and seeds, and we cannot guarantee that any item is free from traces of these. If anyone has an allergy or intolerance, tell us before you order and we will tell you honestly whether we can serve them safely.
Which breads keep and freeze well when you buy in bulk?
The toast loaves, the Country Sourdough Loaf and the bagels: each keeps at room temperature for a day or more, then slices, freezes and toasts from frozen. From each product page's storage note:
- White Toast Bread. In its bag at room temperature, in an air-conditioned room. Beyond a couple of days, slice and freeze it.
- Japanese Milk Bread Loaf. Whole, in a sealed bag or airtight tin at room temperature, out of the path of an air-conditioning vent. Beyond three days, slice it, wrap it tightly and freeze.
- Multi-Seed Whole Wheat Toast Bread. Sealed in a bag, at its best for about three days; past that, slice it and freeze it in a sealed bag.
- Brioche Toast Bread. Tightly wrapped at cool room temperature for two to three days. To keep it longer, slice it on the day it arrives and wrap it in two layers; the fat protects the crumb, so brioche takes to the freezer better than most bread.
- Country Sourdough Loaf. Cut side down on a wooden board, uncovered, for the first day, then a cloth bag or bread tin. It slices well for three to four days; slice and freeze whatever you will not reach by day four.
- Classic Bagels. In paper at room temperature for one to two days. Slice, wrap tightly and freeze the rest on the day you buy them.
None of them goes in the fridge, where a loaf goes stale several times quicker than on the counter. Our toast bread guide compares how the white, multi-seed and brioche loaves toast.
Which bakes should you not stock up on?
Anything built to be eaten on the day it arrives. Buy these for a meal, not for the week:
- Sandwiches. Every sandwich we make has meat or cheese in it, so it goes into the fridge as soon as it arrives and is eaten that day.
- Granola Parfait with Greek Yogurt (25 AED). Into the fridge as soon as it arrives and eaten soon; never frozen, because the yoghurt thaws grainy.
- Croissants. A plain Croissant at 14 AED is for the day it arrives, or wrapped and frozen that day. Freezing dulls a Chocolate Croissant's tempered shell.
- Sourdough Baguette (15 AED). A baguette is mostly crust, so buy it for a meal rather than the week.
How much bread do you need for a week?
Count the week in slices and bagels per person, then turn that into loaves: two slices make a sandwich or one person's toast, and a bagel is one breakfast. Two children's school sandwiches and two adults' toast on five weekday mornings come to 40 slices before the weekend; the office of eight above needs 48 slices for three toast mornings, plus 16 bagels for the other two.
How many slices a loaf gives depends on how thick you cut it, so count the slices in your first loaf and adjust the next order. Our page on planning a family week of bread in Al Barsha works through one household's school week, and how our fresh bread delivery works sets out which loaves to eat first in a single week's bag.
How do you freeze bread bought in bulk?
Sort the bag on delivery day: keep out only what you will eat within each loaf's window above, then slice the rest, wrap it tightly and freeze it, and toast the slices straight from frozen.
- Slice first. Every one of these loaves' storage notes says to slice before freezing, so you take out only what you need.
- Wrap it tightly. A tight wrap or a sealed bag for the toast loaves and bagels, two layers for brioche.
- Toast straight from frozen, with no thawing; brioche on a low setting.
In the family's weekly bag above, that could mean the second and third White Toast Bread loaves, the second Japanese Milk Bread Loaf and any bagels you will not reach in two days go into the freezer on the day they arrive. Our storage notes give no freezer time, another reason a fortnight works better as two weekly orders; our loaf-by-loaf guide to storing bread in Dubai covers the rest.
When should a business set up regular supply instead?
When you need bread on set days every week rather than one large order now and then. For a café, restaurant, hotel or office kitchen, quantities, delivery days, notice and pricing are agreed when you get in touch through our contact page, not published.
Our bread supplier guide covers how supply starts, the range is on our product list for businesses, and choosing a wholesale bakery supplier in Dubai lists the questions to ask. For food set out for guests at an event, use the Bring Farah to your event form; we reply within one working day.
How do delivery and receiving work for a large order?
A bulk order goes to one address in one delivery window, and someone has to be there to receive it. Checkout offers four windows, each three hours long: tomorrow 7–10 am, tomorrow 3–6 pm, the day after tomorrow 7–10 am, and next Saturday 9 am–12 pm. There is no same-day delivery, and every order is baked for the day it is due.
- Be in. We cannot replace fresh items left uncollected or unrefrigerated. Our delivery page covers receiving and what happens if a delivery goes wrong.
- For an office, tick "Delivering to a company / business?" at checkout, put the floor in the "Apartment, floor" line, and pin the entrance a driver should use.
- In Abu Dhabi, the earliest delivery is 2 days after ordering, between 2 pm and 8 pm; see bread delivery to Abu Dhabi.
Payment is on PayPal's page, where a credit or debit card works, usually without a PayPal account; prices are shown in AED and settled in US dollars.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do you give a discount for buying bread in bulk?
Not on shop orders. Pricing for regular business supply is agreed when you get in touch, but we do not publish bulk discounts or volume prices, so a large shop order costs the sum of the shop prices. What it saves is the delivery fee: orders from 150 AED are delivered free, while every order below that pays a flat 20 AED.
Is there a minimum order for bread delivery in Dubai?
No. A single loaf is a perfectly good order, though below 150 AED the flat 20 AED delivery fee applies. Your bag shows how far you are from free delivery, and checkout shows the fee before you pay.
How long does frozen bread keep?
Our storage notes on the product pages give no freezer time, so we do not promise one. Decide on delivery day what you will not eat in time and freeze it then, sliced and tightly wrapped, and toast the slices straight from the freezer instead of thawing them first.
Can I order a whole month of bread at once?
Not as one delivery spread over the month. Every order arrives in a single window, and checkout offers dates no more than a week ahead, so later weeks cannot be booked yet. Order in weekly rounds instead, each of 150 AED or more for free delivery.
Do you deliver bulk bread orders to Abu Dhabi?
Yes. A bulk order to Abu Dhabi works like any other order, except that the earliest delivery is 2 days after ordering, between 2 pm and 8 pm. The fee is the same as in Dubai: 20 AED below 150 AED and free from 150 AED.
